The GZI is a prized black and white agate stone that comes in a variety of sizes, shapes and designs consisting of lines and circles known as “eyes”. It is treasured by Tibetans and worn for luck, prosperity and to ward off obstacles.
This gzi journal comes bound with metal, a handy elastic strap to hold the pages together and 50 pages of paper made with recycled fibre.
@kaldendesigns true aim is to cultivate awareness for ourselves, and compassion to others around us. Our chief purpose is to spread kindness and generosity to the world and get you involved in the process because with every purchase you make, you're making a change to someone, somewhere. 100% of the profits from our sales go to charity because we believe that together we can unite and make a positive change
Dagmo Kalden
Designer, Founder.
I started kaldendesigns mainly in order to use the profit for charity, but also to provide unique, Tibet-inspired designs to the world. I wanted to give visibility to the many Tibetan designs and symbols that are so often under-represented!
Thirdly I wanted to provide items that would encourage people to make informed decisions and responsible purchases by thinking about what their purchase would do to the environment. Our items can be used over and over again and will also limit your purchase of single use items.
Lastly, I want to give a platform to aspiring artists in some of our products, by showcasing their work and talent.
